Zur 3. Auflage des Charity-Laufs Wings for Life World Run hatten sich 38 Läuferinnen und Läufer im Team RUNNING Company gemeldet. Und wir sind immer noch geflashed von eurer Leistung. Pünktlich zum Wochenende legte sich ein Hochdruckgebiet über München und die Sonne knallte erbarmungslos auf den Olympiapark, als um 13:00 Uhr der weltweit zeitgleiche Startschuss fiel.

Unsere Chefin Bianca Meyer lieferte trotz der harten äußeren Bedingungen einen großen Kampf um den Sieg bei den Damen. Mit herausragenden 51,9 Kilometern und einem Schnitt von 4:17 min/Km blieb am Ende wie im Vorjahr nur der 2. Platz. Karin Freitag aus Österreich lief noch 7 Kilometer mehr und holte sich den Sieg in Deutschland.
